Jack Warden

Dead at 85. He was so very good in so many movies. Two that stand out for me are Heaven Can Wait, with Top Dog's Baseball Buddy Warren Beatty, and While You Were Sleeping with Sandra Bullock. RIP.

Finally you mention someone who acted in movies and TV shows I've actually seen. CIV rented "Twelve Angry Men" when rugrat had to read it, was a big fan of NYPD, and saw "Heaven Can Wait" in an actual movie theater when it was new.

CIV thought the latter seemed awfully familiar and finally realized it was a remake of "Here Comes Mr. Jordan."

A great character actor. Let's not forget his turn as the judge with a death wish in And Justice For All.

Great Call, KM. . "You're out of order".
And how about when the properly dressed gentleman with Tourettes appeard before him. Warden was going to give him probation:
Judge: And I won't want to see you back here. You must promise to stop saying profane things in public.
Perp: I can't promise that?
Judge: Why not?
Perp: Because you, sir, are a doucebag.
