The death of a president and Al Pacino

It's so heartening to see that Hollywood finds "Death Of A President", a mockumentary about the assassination of George W. Bush to be distasteful.

Oh, but wait...Here's how this article begins:

Amid a slew of real documentaries and richly detailed nonfiction books illuminating the ways in which America's current leadership has used deceit and misinformation to advance its political agenda and engineer greater repression comes a fake documentary trying to do the same thing.

Well, at least the writer does us the courtesy of indicating to us in advance that he's an islamo-fascist-loving, extreme-leftist, Bush-hating, Dick Cheney-despising dimwit.

"C'mon people! We don't need to fake Bush's agenda to engineer greater repression! It's real, baby!...I mean just look at uh...Just look at uh...uh...Abu Ghraib! Yeah, that's it! Abu Ghraib! Where they put leashes on some guys and stuff...Forget fathers jumping from 80th floors to flee the burning fuel flames...It's Abu Ghraib! Abu Graib! Abu Ghraib!... Attica! Attica! Attica!"

...If you just clicked on that link, answer me this: Who's the better man in that scene, Charles Durning who is putting his life on the line to save innocent people being terrorized inside a bank, or the weasley little Al Pacino waving his white hanky (and terrorizing people inside a bank)?

Abu Ghraib! Abu Ghraib! Abu Ghraib!!
