Out and about
*Deogulwulf: The Art of the Fewtril:
How sickly and typically modern it would be if, upon all of us having conformed to the same view, we were to congratulate ourselves on the remarkable degree of tolerance amongst us.
*Jeffery Hodges comments on Deogulwulf here. Just go read Gypsy Scholar. He posts something new and interesting every day.
*While you're at it, go read Quid Nomen Illius. Jeff may not post something daily, but when he does post something, it deserves to be posted.
*Spengler explains why you don't like modern art. He's wrong about me, though. I love modern art. In fact, I have had some brilliant parodies of Marcel Duchamp's famous work installed in my bathrooms.
*David Adesnik at Oxblog comments here and here about the "liberal" position on religion and religious rhetoric in the public square.
I think Ann Althouse is right. There's a difference between prasing Obama for his accomplishments and talents and patronizing him because he's talented and black. Some of the over-the-top treatment of Obama reminds me of the scene in In and Out, where a character played by Matt Dillon wins an Oscar and thanks his old high school teacher, adding at the end of the speech . . . "and he's gay!"

Thanks, KM, for the link (although it seems to misfire -- click and see).

C'mon Jeffery, don't be a curmudgeon.
Wonderdog, I'm not cynical enough to be a curmudgeon -- but I've been forced into adopting the dog-guise to be one of the dog-guys (like you and ol' Stewdog).
Sad to think that all of these puns will fall flat when KM switches that link. KM! Wait! Don't retouch that link!
