What's In A Name?

I went to law school with a guy named Ignatius. A bit unususal, and "Iggy" is the only person I have known with that name. I guess his parents knew something, because apparently naming your child after an obscure Saint provides unusual protection.
He is now a city councilman in Kirkwood, MO, a beautiful suburban community/small town just outside of St. Louis. Yesterday, he was present for the meeting where a gunman came in and killed 6 people. The woman to his right was killed. The man to his left was killed. He is fine.
So. . what's in a name?
