Believe in the power of the Wonderdog

Take heart, ye Rumpusers of little faith. Tis I Wonderdog come forth to bring ye tidings of great joy. Look ye upon the smiling visage of the noble McCain. Glance ye upon the extended thumbs. A happier warrior never was. Ah, and what dost this image foretell, oh great Wonderdog, ye may ask? Ah, if ye questioneth, ye are of little faith...

Believe...in the power...of the Wonderdooooog...

I believe, Wonder Dog!

Can you make my 15 pounds of excess fat and a bunch of wrinkles disappear, too?

I'll be off to vote in about an hour or so. Waiting for the before-commute voters to finish.

Ah, good old faithul CIV. Maybe your one vote will tip the scales for McCain in VA. Give us an update about what you're hearing out there if you get the chance.

Polls don't close until 7pm EST, so I haven't heard a thing.

We had no trouble voting -- in and out in under 10 minutes, I'd estimate.

I keep hearing audio clips on the radio of Rep. Jim Moron, er Moran, (D-VA) talking about the Redistribution of Wealth. He is such an embarrassment to the Old Dominion. He was our congressman, one brief, but awful, term, when we got redistricted. Thankfully, that's over.

I bought a 6-pack of beer, in case we need to celebrate (or cry) tonight. The store was practically wiped out. Let's hope it's because many people decided to Get Drunk and Vote 4 McCain.

Hey, I thought I'd be getting minute-by-minute updates from the Rumpus. Where is everybody? Oh, yeah, you are probably just getting home from work.

Well, VA now has two Dem senators. Everybody but the VA GOP knew that Gilmore could not win that seat. He ran for governor and won on one issue, "No Car Tax," and we are still paying the car tax (albeit much reduced) all these years later. If he did anything else as governor, I can't remember it. So now we have the stupid Warner (Mark, not John) for the next 6 years. ARGH!

I'm still hoping McCain will carry the state...

Hi CIV!

Just posted my own version of an update.

I can guarantee *my* state, at least. :)
