Kerry doesn't carry New York

With New York officially certifying its 31 electoral votes, it seems that, in a shocking development, John F. Kerry did not win the state. No, George W. Bush didn't either. It seems state officials certified the electoral votes to a guy named John "L". Kerry.

How much you wanna bet all the red states managed to certify the correct candidate? What a bunch of backward morons they have in those blue states, huh?

I heard there was another screw up, but I can't remember which state. Anyway, seems one of the electors voted for John Ewards [sic] for president. So, it was 14 Kerry and 1 Ewards for president and 15 Edwards for veep. Looks like W's electoral win is getting larger every day!

I believe MN gave one electoral vote to Edwards. What's worse is that the electors had to hand write the votes.

So what would have happened had the election been closer?

We'll give the Minnesotans a break since their fingers were probably frost-bitten.
