I'm officially sick of it

After 2 weeks on nonstop rain in So Cal, I am officially sick of it.

RAthERGATE report came out. Rather got away unscathed. They found no political agenda or bias. Four employees, including the producer Mary Mapes, get to take a long walk off a short pier.

Sorry about the rain. We are having unseasonably, but welcome, warm weather here.

Mapes should have been fired immediately. Too bad Danny boy gets to walk.

What's interesting, though, as other bloggers have pointed out, is the double standard with which the question of political bias or motivation was treated. They had no trouble ascribing political biases to the bloggers who uncovered the forgeries, but when it comes to Rather, Mapes, et al., there is no "evidence" that their piece of crap story was the result of journalistic bias. Whatever, dudes.

Hey Stewdog, I know I've been MIA recently; you are the only one keeping the flame of Rumpus alive at the moment. Bless your blogging heart.

Hey, I see there are mudslides, rocks falling, roads and homes collapsing, and people drowning in CA. Are y'all OK? I know you need rain out that way, but I'm guessing you didn't want it all at once. Yeesh. Better start building that Ark.
