Sigh

Students at Brooklyn College's School of Education are evaluated, in part, according to their disposition toward "social justice."

I'm too tired for a rant. Feel free to indulge your own rant in the comments section.

I'm trying to remember what part of algebra covered "social justice." Or was it chemistry?

Those Rumpus with young children ought really consider parochial school or home schooling. Otherwise, be prepared to continually counter the liberal bias and brainwashing in even the best public schools.

I wish I could reach those students to tell them about the Walter E Williams Amnesty and Pardon.

Regarding homeschooling and/or parochial school -- don't worry, I'm completely with you on that one. Even in parochial school, though, it's hard to escape the Lord of the Flies socialization.

That proclamation is great. What do you think would happen if someone starting passing them out at Brooklyn's education department?

I think any education student caught with a proclamation from a conservative African American scholar could kiss his or her education degree goodbye. Any instructors doing same could forget tenure. And any non-student / non-faculty would probably be arrested!
