Sassygate

Scott Burgess at The Daily Ablution has an update, with links, on "Sassygate" -- the controversy that has erupted at The Guardian after Burgess's revelation that a Guardian trainee reporter, who wrote an apologist editorial about the London terror bombings, belonged to an extremist Islamist organization. It appears that The Guardian fired the reporter, not because they were unaware of his ties with the organization, but because they didn't like the fact that -- thanks to Burgess-- everyone else knew about it.
