Well, history teaches us that civilizations and empires come and go, and the US won't last forever. I'm betting on the Chinese as the next big thing, but who stole Peggy Noonan's rattle? I've always respected her, but she seems to have been infected with a new strain of Bird Flu. . . Chicken Little's Sky Is Falling Syndrome.
