CIV has been to Knoxville -- back when they were hosting the World's Fair. Everyone joked about it, but we had fun.
So what were the little Princesses up to in beautiful Tennessee? You just showing them there's more to life than Babs & Co out on the left coast?
I too have seen lovely Knoxville, hitching through on my way from St. Louis to Atlanta, 1972.
Not too far from where we just had another unfortunate school shooting.
My husband has a lot of family in Knoxville. We were visiting.
The princesses had a grand time holding salamanders, frogs, and crawdads, and hiking and enjoying the beautiful autumn leaves. We even saw a bear. When and if they someday know who Babs is, I'm sure they'll take the salamander over La Streisand.
