The Stanley Kurtz piece was WAY too slow to get to the point. I'd recommend skipping part 1 and the first 1/2 of part 2. It's only page 2 of part 2 that really gets to the heart of the matter.
Interestingly, Kurtz never even mentioned the effect of endogamy on genetics. How many generations can marry 1st cousins on their father's side before all sorts of physical and mental problems appear? I wish I could find the excellent piece I read a few years back on what is happening to the health of the House of Saud because of all the in-marrying.
