Who Let The Dogs Out?
Let's talk Michael Vick for a moment. It gets my mind off of Paris Hilton, David Beckham, the 08 Democratic contenders, Harry Reid, Barry Bonds, Cindy Sheehan, Nancy Pelosi, and Lindsay Lohan for a few minutes.
By now, everyone has heard about the federal indictment that he was involved in the barbaric pasttime of dog fighting. The question before us is should he be suspended pending the outcome of the case. As a lawyer, and someone who witnessed the goings on with the Duke lacrosse players, and who believes in "innocent until proven guilty", I tend to lean on "no" as an answer to that. I see where the league and players association are trying to get a middle groud where he takes a leave of absence.
What I really wanted to see, and the schedule makers aren't going to let that happen, would be for Vick to play and have them go play in Cleveland, where the "dog pound" would have a field day on him.
Speaking of which, if he is convicted, I say smear him with alpo and let the hounds decide the punishment.

The Falcons have asked him to NOT report to camp I'm afraid. I believe you will never see him play another down in a Falcon's uniform again. He's on Paid leave though...so he's still earning that largest NFL contract in history money....don't worry!
