Do our tax dollars really need to be furt her wasted by Henry Waxman et. al. on an investigation of Roger Clemens in a he said/he said?

Though I indeed see your point on this... I don't think we can let ANYONE testify Under Oath...and lie. Rodger Clemens is no better or worse than any other citizen and faces the same laws and consequences that we all do. If they find evidence that he did indeed lie?..then he must be made an example of, not for taking illegal steriods but for breaking the law of our land.

But there is no real smoking gun here that I have seen. Just a bunch of circumstantial evidence, the main bit of which is the testimony of the trainer, who is an ADMITTED LIAR. Why aren't they investigating the trainer for perjury? And this is bipartisan horse dootie too!
As a lawyer I agree with the rule of law and that perjury cannot go unpunished. As a taxpayer I think the entire hearing and the jurisdiction that stupid committee claims is unadulterated horses**t!

But every other player connected to this guy has said he IS telling the truth including Andy Pettite. ALL have colaborated his account of what happened EXCEPT?...yep..Rodger Clemens. I feel that there is more than enough evidence, circumstantial though it may be, to pursue this investigation. If he lied to congress?...we need to know about it.
