Evidence that the Washington Post is starting to get it

The Washington Post gave liberal hate-monger Cartoonist Ted Rall the axe today. If you don't recall Rall, he's the slimeball who trashed former professional football player Pat Tillman after he had given up a lucrative NFL career to join the Army Rangers and was subsequently killed in Afghanistan. Bravo to the Post.

Check out Rall's handy work here, here, here, and here to understand my joy at this news.

Ted Rall is the WORST. He makes Michael Moore seem like Laura Ingram by comparison.
There is an essay on his website pointing out that people on the "Blue" coasts are smarter and better than people in the red states, so it is ok to feel superior because you go to better restaurants and meet more interesting people. He's so full of crap that if he ever had an enema, he would simply disappear.

No, the Washington Post doesn't get it. This morning there's a cartoon by Bob Staake showing President Bush throwing a stick and Condi Rice, looking like a dog, running to fetch the stick. It's in a "humor" contest column called "The Style Invitational." I could not find it on their on-line site -- it may be there later in the week -- but perhaps that is just as well.
