Positive outlook for the next four years
The U.S. added 337,000 new jobs to the payroll last month. That's the highest gain in 7 months of steady job gains.
The stock market is rallying behind Bush's victory.
The U.S. and Iraqi security forces are preparing for a massive and final assault on Fallujah and the terrorist strong-holds in Iraq (HT: The Command Post). With a renewed energy driven by the mandate the American people have given our president and our troops, Marine Colonel Michael Shupp, commander of regimental combat team one says:
“The operation will be over when the terrorists are crushed and Fallujah is handed back to the legitimate Iraqi government.”
Meanwhile, Iraqi Interim Prime Minister Iyad Allawi is buoyed by the resolve of the American people and spoke to the NATO alliance with renewed confidence:
"A stable, peaceful, strong...democratic Iraq would spill over to the whole region and create a much more stable and peaceful region.
That is why we...believe very strongly that NATO should provide help and continue to support us in our bid to build democracy, the rule of law and human rights in Iraq."
His confidence and resolve for the fight for freedom is growing each day and is becoming a nuisance for many European leaders who lack the fortitude to face the challenges confronting the world:
Dr Allawi went on from NATO to a summit of European Union leaders, some of whom expressed dismay when - on a visit to Rome on Thursday - he described states that opposed the war to oust Saddam Hussein as "spectators".
Meanwhile, Jacques Chirac snubbed Allawi and did not attend the meeting with the EU in Brussels. He did, however, find time to visit Yasser Arafat in the hospital just two days before. (Note to Chirac...watch your ass!)
Meanwhile, Al Qaeda is claiming that Bush's election will lead America to hell. Gee, I've heard the exact same thing from my liberal friends the last couple days.
Viva la Bush revolucion!
