Interesting read.
Anyone who criticizes the dropping of the bomb needs to study the history of the American campaign at Okinawa. Far fewer Japanese died in those two bombings than would have perished had there been a mainland invasion. Furthmore, Stalin likely would have played a part in the invasion leading to a partition of Japan, similar to Germany and Korea. Sometimes you kill the patient to save him.
