Looking Backward
Inspired by Jeff at Quid Nomen Illius (which is my fancy way of saying I've decided to copy him), I offer a brief retrospective of Rumpus 2006:
Here's what I think about when I can't get to sleep -- besides the "implications."
Sadeeq discusses John Cage's 639-year musical work.
Wonderdog liveblogs the Grammys.
Who draws the crowd and plays so loud? Baby, it's the "Damn it!" Man!
Everywhere around the world, they're comin' to America . . .
Wonderdog and I trade troubling memories of childhood.
Wonderdog offers apologies to Jesus and pens a memorable Top Ten.
Darryl Ann describes a horrifying celebrity encounter.
Stewdog asks an excellent question. Wonderdog asks another.
Madman takes a whiff of The Da Vinci Ca-Ca, so we don't have to.
Stewdog pays tribute to his father, who occasionally lives dangerously.
Stewdog plays the name game.
Madman comments on the Pope's speech and initiates an interesting comments thread.
I review a fabulous new book.
Wonderdog spares a spider.

Thanks for the retrospective. You folks have had a pretty prolific year--and I especially like W'dog's poem about the spider.
Happy new year to Rumpusers far and near!
And happy new year to you, too, Jeff!
